In the eighties, the writers of Miami Vice hung out at The Deuce. When they filmed an episode called “Mac’s Club Deuce,” the interior of the bar was too dark, so they put neon over the enigmatic figures painted on the walls to brighten up the place. That’s the neon that is still there, today. And when Miami Vice was over, the cast and crew held their wrap party at their favorite bar, Mac’s Club Deuce.
