Access Granted: Curious mix often wild at Mac’s Club Deuce Bar in Miami Beach

Miami Beach bar attracts all types for drinks, pool and ’secret’ antics.

 All you need is a legit ID to enter the crooked world of Mac’s Club Deuce Bar. It feels like a place Hunter S. Thompson might have come to hang his hat. 

Stopped by the newly reopened South Pointe Park for a gander at the cool lines. People were moving on segways, skateboards, bicycles, rollerblades, roller skates, scooters, and lots of strollers and all breeds of dogs. The revamped park looks great in a modernistic, teletubby sort of way.  A couple had brought some chairs and were playing Thelonius Monk on some speakers, while they watched the ships go out and the sun go down. Wonder if  the powers that be plan to have jazz concerts in the park like they used to  before all those high rises went up.
